Adding TOMEs™ (Terumo Operational Medical Equipment Software) from Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies allows you to operate your scales using PCs and tablets and enables bidirectional communication between each networked device and your blood bank information system (BBIS). This helps customize your procedures to ensure adherence to your standard operating procedures (SOPs) and product specifications, improve traceability, and streamline your process.

  • Allows you to customize your procedure steps, based on your SOP
  • Automatically exports procedure data for the BBIS
  • Provides security and control of operator access, per station and per procedure level, through user authentication.
  • Allows the system to access unit-specific collection and processing information from the BBIS to facilitate processing and improve product consistency
