Associate-Inspired Charitable Grants

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies recognizes that our associates want to make contributions to their communities not only with financial support, but also with their time. Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies supports our associates' philanthropic interests by offering two distinct programs—Matching Grants and Donations for Doers Grants—that provide financial grants to charitable organizations supported by the personal passions of our associates.

Associates may apply for a Matching Grant or a Donations for Doers Grant using the link below. Applications are reviewed and awarded monthly.

As a global leader in blood component, therapeutic apheresis and cellular technologies, we aspire to provide compelling and accessible innovations that unlock the power of blood and cells to improve patient outcomes and serve unmet medical needs. This is also the foundation for our charitable giving philosophy. We seek to support organizations that:

Unlock access to relevant medical supplies and care for those most in need around the world.
Unlock opportunities to provide a safe, reliable supply of blood and cells that can be used to cure and treat medical conditions.
Unlock the potential of the next generation of innovators by supporting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) programs that help secondary students apply these skills to future career opportunities.

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies is committed to increasing the number of patients we serve through our business operations and our philanthropic outreach.

At this time, our charitable funds for non-profits have been disbursed for the year. Requests received now will be reviewed in April of 2023 when a new funding cycle begins. At this time, for the 2023 cycle, we recommend grant requests of no more than $10,000 USD. We are not currently providing in-kind or product donations.
