White Blood Cell Depletion (WBCD) Procedure Training*

This training is for operators who have experience using the Spectra Optia^® Apheresis System. If you have not yet received Spectra Optia system training for at least one procedure, you should not take this online training at this time. Contact your local Terumo BCT representative for more information.

We are excited to introduce online training for the Spectra Optia system’s White Blood Cell Depletion (WBCD) procedure.* This training provides you with additional information required to perform WBCD procedures on the Spectra Optia system. This new training approach is designed to improve your learning experience by providing training that is:

Timely: Training is available on demand or when required, and it helps facilitate your transition to the Spectra Optia system WBCD procedure.
Flexible: Learn at your own pace and convenience. No need to coordinate work schedules around face-to-face training sessions.
Repeatable: Refresh your training as often as you need it to maintain competency on this procedure. New to depletions? No problem. You may implement this training as long as you have completed training on at least one other procedure on the Spectra Optia system.
