Addressing environmental, social, and governance issues

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies embraces sustainability through the lens of our mission, Contributing to Society through Healthcare. From this perspective, we work to improve healthcare access and unlock a better future for more patients around the globe. We expand on and support this focus by pursuing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.

Just as we do with our medical technology innovations, we continually explore, develop, measure, and test our impact on the planet we share and the people we share it with. We are driven to improve how we serve patients, our communities, and the environment.

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies is one of three companies comprising the Terumo Corporation (TSE: 4543) based in Tokyo, Japan. We align our ESG priorities, strategies, and processes with Terumo Corporation’s sustainability vision. The group’s leadership and support allow us to deepen our impact while we continue to localize our sustainability efforts.
